Handwoven Sheep Wool & Angora Shawls

       Angora and sheep wool shawls are warmer, softer and lighter than 100% sheep wool shawls. Angora and sheep wool shawls also have more drape than 100% sheep wool shawls. English Angora rabbits have the softest wool of all the angora rabbit breeds.
     Many of these shawl are made with angora along the top so they are very soft next your skin.
     For most of our shawls we list the percentage of angora and sheep wool. The higher the percentage of angora yarn the softer and warmer the shawl will be.
   Note: The bright white yarn is English Angora wool and is naturaly that white( not bleached or dyed).

All Natural Grown in Colored Shawls

All of the fallowing shawls are made with 100% hand spun natural grown-in colored yarn from our sheep and angora rabbits. The natural colors are Not dyed, but the natural color of the sheep's or angora rabbits wool.

This shawl has soft angora rabbit wool along the top and is 1 of our softest angora and wool shawls. The dark fringe and the dark strips in the body of the shawl is lambs wool from "Forest". Angora & Sheep Wool Shawls That Have Some Dyed Yarn

These shawls are made with some dyed yarn, for brighter colors. Some of the dyes we use are natural plant dyes from plants on our farm, others are bought dyes. All of the dyed yarn we hand dyed.

The blue and purple yarn is dyed with a bought dye. The bright white angora yarn is from "Lilly" and the pearl gray angora yarn is from "Trillium". This shawl is 17% English Angora rabbit wool and 83% sheep wool. Dimensions: 7 inch fringe and 60 inches across the top. Regular Price: $190.00
This green & gold shawl is mostly sheep wool. The green yarn is dyed with a bought dye and the gold yarn is dyed with a natural plant dye. This Shawl is made on the biggest size on our tri-loom. The purple and blue yarn is dyed with a purchased dye. Some of the purple and blue yarn are a blue or purple sheep wool 1 ply yarn, plied with a gray angora bunny 1 ply yarn. All of the angora yarn is natural colored. The body of this shawl is 50% angora and 50% sheep wool and the fringe are 100% soft sheep wool. Because of this shawl being 50% angora it is very soft, warm and light. This mostly natural colored shawl is very soft. All of the colors are natural, except the gray blue which is purchased dyed. The gray blue striped yarn is striped because it is a gray/blue sheep wool 1 ply yarn, plied with a gray angora bunny 1 ply yarn. This shawl is 46% angora rabbit wool and 54% sheep wool. 100% Sheep Wool Shawls

Our 100% sheep wool shawls are made with soft lambs wool and sheep wool. We make some shawls with all natural grown in colors and some with dyed yarn.
This is the only 100% sheep wool shawl we have available now.

   This shawl is made with 100% natural grown in colors. Soft brown, white and black sheep wool shawl.

   The brown yarn is lambs wool from "Cinnamon Spice" and the black is lambs wool from "Kawika".

Hand Embroidered Shawls

     All of the hand embroidered shawls we have made are angora and sheep wool mix. The body of these shawls are the same as the not embroidered angora & sheep wool shawls. Some have more angora than others and on some of the shawls the embroidery is also angora yarn. Some are made with all natural grown-in colors( not dyed, the natural color of the sheep's wool) and some are made with some dyed yarn, either a natural plant dye or a purchased dye. We embroider the shawls
    Most of the embroidered shawls are made with 100% hand spun yarn from our sheep and angora rabbits, but on a few we use purchased yarn for the embroidery.
    We make a verity of designs and many of them are Hawaiian plant or Petroglyph designs.

Embroidered Ohia Blossoms Shawl Hand embroidered Ohia blossoms (a native Hawaiian tree) on a angora and sheep wool shawl. All of the yarn is hand spun yarn from our sheep and rabbits, except the rad yarn used for the embroidered Ohia blossoms. All of the colors are natural grown in colors( the color of the sheep or rabbit's wool), except the rad and green. The green is hand dyed sheep wool. The pure white angora wool in the body of the shawl is a twill weave and the wool is from "Lilly". The fringe are 50% angora and 50% sheep wool. The body of the shawl is 50% Angora and 50% sheep wool. The embroidery is 100% sheep wool. The bright white is angora and the brown is lambs wool. Hooded Shawls

All of our hooded shawls are made with 100% hand spun yarn, that we spun, from our sheep and angora rabbits. All 3 hooded shawls we have now are angora and sheep wool mix. The hoods are edged angora rabbit wool to be soft and keep your head warm.

Angora and sheep wool red hooded shawl. The red yarn is plied with pearl gray angora, so it is very soft. This hooded shawl is very soft and warm. The hood is edged with angora bunny wool. Tasseled hood and ties at neck. The black is natural, not dyed. The bright white is from "Lilly" one of our English Angora rabbits. The hood is 48% angora and 52% sheep wool. Shawls with Alpaca Fringe

     We make some shawls with alpaca wool fringe. The body of the shawls are made with either 100% sheep wool or a mix of angora and sheep. The yarn is 100% hand spun.
     The alpaca wool is from a friend's alpaca and we spun the wool.
     We have only 2 alpaca fringed shawls available now.
