2022 Clun Forest Lambs

        The 2022 lamb crop is here!

      We have 29 lambs from all 4 of our registered Clun Forest rams this year. The lambs' mothers are our top ewes, selected for hardiness, mothering and wool quality.

   'Stellar' is a handsome and hardy ram, with nice wool. 

   His lambs have very nice wool and conformation. His daughters are excellent mothers.

   "Java Chip"

   Java Chip is a big beautiful ewe. She is and excellent mother and has a very large udder.

    Java Chip had large healthy twin rams on March 24th 2022.  Both boys are big and handsome.

Java Chip's new twins are full siblings to 'Mint Chip', one of our pretty young ewes. Mint Chip has excellent conformation and is a great mother.

    Both lambs are photoed at 2 days old and 18 days old.

      SBF Honeyberry - Purebred

    WFM Aries x WFM Akala Berry

    'Honeyberry' is a beautiful young ewe. She has good conformation, a nice soft fleece and an elegant dark face. Honeyberry has excellent worm resistances and overall is a very healthy ewe.

    Honeyberry had a healthy single ram lamb on April 15th 2022. She had her lamb unassisted and is an excellent mother. Her lamb is a good-looking boy, with a nice fine fleece and long legs.

   Honeyberry's lamb is a purebred Clun Forest, but he will not be NACFA registered due to being a single.

  "Princess"

 WFM Stellar x Blazing Star

   Princess has a soft fleece and is very friendly.  She is an excellent mother. Princess had handsome twin rams in 2021, they were also Brahm's lambs.

   Princess had a big ram lamb Feb 27th 2022.  The lamb is very healthy and handsome.

     "June"

    June is a big pretty ewe and an excellent mother. Her lambs have all been very nice looking and fast growing.

     June had big healthy twin rams on May 1st 2022. Both lambs are very nice looking, with fine fleeces and nice long bodies and legs.

    'Challis'

    MacNut x Treat

     Challis has a soft & pretty fleece, is a big ewe and a great mother.  Her daughter 'Blondie' is a lovely ewe.

    Challis had big twins on May 9th 2022. A ewe and a ram. Both lambs have lovely conformation.  These twins are full siblings to 'Blondie'.

    'Lacy'

   WFM Stellar x Leaf

     Lacy is a lovely big ewe. She is an excellent mother, very milky and has a fine fleece. Lacy has the biggest udder of our ewes, her lambs are always well fed and fast growing.

    Lacy had a big beautiful ewe lamb on May 7th 2022.  This lamb is a full sibling to 'Zuki', one of our 2 year old ewes. Zuki has a lovey fleece and is very pretty.

    'Fuchsia'

     Fuchsia is a pretty ewe with lovely conformation. She is an excellent mother and her lambs are very pretty too.

    Fuchsia had twin ewes on May 15th 2022. Both lambs have fine fleeces and nice black faces.  These twins are full siblings to Fuchsia's 2021 twin ewes, who were beautiful lambs.

    SBF Allamanda - Purebred

    Allamanda is a hardy ewe and a good mother. She has a nice fleece too.

    Allamanda had twins on May 5th 2022. A ewe and a ram, both lambs are healthy and growing fast. These are Allamanda's first lambs.

     Silvestri is a handsome young ram. He has excellent leg conformation and great chest and hip width. 

Silvestri's lambs are very nice looking, with stylish dark faces and ears.

    Silvestri's sire is from the top flock in the USA. He is descended from British, Dutch and American Clun bloodlines.

      'Camellia'

    WFM Brahm x Cocoa

     'Cami' is a tall ewe with a pretty dark face.  Her mother 'Cocoa' is a big ewe and an excellent mother.

   Cami had a big single ewe on May 23rd 2022. Cami is being a good mother and her lamb is doing very well.

   Cami's lamb is 4 days old on the left and 9 days old on the right.

        'Zuki'

    WFM Brahm x Lacy (by WFM Stellar)

    Zuki is a beautiful young ewe with a lovely fine fleece. She has great worm resistance too.

   Zuki had a big beautiful ewe lamb on June 2nd 2022. This is Zuki's first time to lamb and she's a good mother.   Her lamb is very Clun looking, with an elegant head and high set ears.  She was 11.4 lbs at birth.

    'Carmen'

    WFM Brahm x Leaf

    Carmen is a hardy large ewe with a nice fleece, great worm resistance and good width and depth of body. She is a good mother with lots of milk.
 

   Carmen had big handsome twin rams on June 1st 2022. Both lambs have lovely smooth dark faces and fine fleeces.

    Hokuloa is a hardy young ewe and a good mother.

    Hokuloa had a healthy single ewe on June 5th 2022. She had her lamb unassisted and is a great mother.

   WFM Aries  Imported Registered Purebred Clun Forest

    Aries is handsome and our largest ram. He has great conformation, from his stylish dark face to his excellent body length.  Aries is very friendly.

   Aries's lambs tend to have his stylish dark face and excellent conformation. They also have nice fine fleeces.

    Aries is from the top mainland genetics. His sire is from the top Clun flock in the USA. Aries is descended from British and American Clun bloodlines.

    'Filleta' is a lovely ewe, with a nice fleece, excellent worm resistance and beautiful conformation. She is an excellent mother.   

    Filleta had beautiful twin ewes on March 14th 2022.  Both lambs are very healthy and growing quickly.

These twins are full siblings to 'SBF Eroica', a beautiful yearling ewe. Eroica is tall and stylish, with a lovely fleece.

      'Latte'

   MacNut x Cocoa

     Latte is a good mother and she has a pretty soft gray fleece.  She has lambed 3 times and had twins every time.   Latte is shown here with her 2021 twins.

    Latte had big twin rams on March 9th 2022.  Both lambs are healthy and handsome, with very fine fleeces.

      'Mint Chip'

    WFM Stellar x Java Chip ( by WFM Brahm)

     Mint Chip is a pretty young ewe with nice conformation, a fine fleece and a big udder.

    Mint Chip had healthy twin ewes on March 14th 2022. Both lambs are very cute and look like they will be lovely ewes.  Mint Chip is a great mother, doing an excellent job having twins.

      'Steller's Jay'

        Jay is a big ewe with a lovely silky fine fleece. She is a sweet friendly ewe.

      Jay had a ewe lamb on March 13th 2022. The lamb has a fine fleece and a pretty dark face.

     Akala is a beautiful small ewe, with a nice fleece. She is a sweet loving mother. Akala has excellent worm resistance.

     Akala had healthy twins on March 31st 2022. A handsome ram and a beautiful ewe.   Both lambs are NACFA registered.

    These twins are full siblings to Akala's beautiful 2 year old daughter, Honeyberry.

    'Roca'

    WFM Brahm x Treat

     Roca is a big beautiful ewe with lovely conformation. She is an excellent mother and has great lambing ease. She has lambed 3 times, having lovely big twins each time.

    Roca had large twins on May 24th 2022. A beautiful ewe and a handsome ram.
